These simply open up the game by offering freedom and variety. With peasant militia and manhunters I end up using non meta builds and highly varied compositions in a way no other origin comes close to. It does make it hard to find bros for reliable duelists or 2h hammers or pure endgame bow users due to lower stats, but with more bros one can circumvent this through composition and adaptation. Played another game for 30 min or more with no change. Some peasants got roped in with my caravan and one of the peasants gets stuck on his turn and never finished.
